Our Mission: To identify the areas of greatest interest and opportunity in Faribault, then gather and invest philanthropic donations from individuals, families, and businesses, to support what is good for our community.
2025 Timeline:
Applications open: April 1, 2025
Application Deadline: May 12, 2025
Determine Grant Awards in May
Distribution of Grants in June
Report due from Grant Recipients: November 1, 2025
Preference will be given to projects that:
· Improve existing programs within your organization
· Create a new initiative to enhance your organization
· Engage multiple partners
Selection will be determined based on:
· Impact to the organization and community
· Demonstrated need
· Alignment with the mission of the Faribault Foundation

These grants are funded by the Community Opportunity Fund at the Foundation. You are invited to consider a donation of one dollar a day ($365.00) to support CommUnity Grants. Opportunity Fund Donations may be made to the Faribault Foundation in any amount to support these grants and to build the Foundation’s ability to fund projects and programs that are beneficial to our community both now and in the future.
