The purpose of the Fund is to provide support to River Bend Nature Center, by supporting the ongoing care and environmental stewardship of the River Bend Nature Center. The fund supports River Bend's conservation efforts to ensure that the nature center remains a premiere, accessible green space in southern Minnesota. Support in the form of an annual grant from the Fund may include trail maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation projects, invasive species management, natural habitat restoration, and reforestation work, development of conservation agreements, easements, and future land acquisitions, as directed by the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation.
