The Faribault Foundation is growing strong under the leadership of our full-time Executive Director, Laura Bock of Faribault.

Her previous experience working alongside local estate planning attorneys and financial advisors gives her the ability to manage our donor centric organization. Her leadership experience and community involvement make her the ideal leader for our community foundation.
With Laura’s leadership, the Faribault Foundation achieved National Accreditation. Laura said, “National accreditation gives donors confidence that their philanthropy is in good hands. It reflects our commitment to responsible stewardship, so charitable dollars can make the greatest possible impact in the Faribault community.”

Shelby Mathews
Shelby Mathews is the Foundation's Executive Assistant. Shelby has been a member of the Faribault Foundation team since April of 2025. She is currently in the process of completing her degree in Business Management and is excited to bring this knowledge to the Foundation office. She enjoys building meaningful connections within the Faribault community and is inspired by the generosity of individuals and organizations who care deeply about making a positive impact locally. Shelby is passionate about supporting the Foundation’s mission and celebrating the spirit of giving that helps Faribault continue to thrive.
