Paul & Jean Mooty join Founders Society

The Founders Society was established in 2023 to recognize the outstanding lifetime contributions of Faribault’s most generous philanthropists, whose commitments have significantly influenced the Faribault Foundation’s mission to enhance the quality of life for all residents. This esteemed group now includes 44 families.

Members of the Founders Society have made thoughtful donations that support the Foundation’s mission to cultivate and expand financial resources, ensuring consistent and sustainable assistance for the ongoing charitable needs of the Faribault area.

The newest members are Paul and Jean Mooty.

Here is what they had to say about why they have joined the group:

"In March of 2022 on happenstance, we were invited to take a look at Faribault Woolen Mill Company, which  had closed in 2009.  We were introduced to many  business  and community leaders  and many former  employees of the Mill.   It was immediately evident what a wonderful community Faribault was and the passion  and pride everyone  had.  We felt so welcome.  That played  a tremendous role  in the decision to acquire the Mill and we have never looked  back.  Since then, we have received  incredible support and encouragement and could  not be prouder  or more  honored  to say we are part of the Faribault community."
