Matching grant will double donations to Faribault Falcon Activities Fund.

There's something special about being part of the Faribault Falcons community. Whether it's cheering under the lights on Bruce Smith Field or from the bleachers in Nomeland Gymnasium, watching students discover their talents

in the arts, or seeing young people grow through the guidance of dedicated coaches and mentors, these moments are a source of pride for all of us who call Faribault home.

As we enter the Thanksgiving season — a time centered on gratitude, generosity, and reflecting on the blessings in our lives — we're reminded of just how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community. Thanksgiving asks us not only to appreciate what we have, but also to share what we can so others may thrive. Today we have a unique chance to do exactly that and to strengthen those meaningful experiences for the next generation.

From now until January 31, the Faribault Booster Club and the Faribault Wrestling Association will generously match all donations up to $20,000 in support of the new Faribault Falcons Activities Fund.

That means every dollar you give right now will be doubled, creating an opportunity to turn $20,000 of donations into $40,000 that will directly benefit the students of Faribault Public Schools.

What is the Faribault Falcons Activities Fund? A group of dedicated alumni and former coaches launched the Faribault Falcons Activities Fund this fall to ensure that every student has access to meaningful extracurricular opportunities — the same kinds of opportunities many of us look back on with fondness and gratitude. The goal is to raise $1.656 million over the next three years, with the annual earnings from the endowment providing ongoing funding for Falcons activities. This means that every dollar that you contribute will stay in this endowment permanently and continue to benefit Faribault High School activities for decades to come.

By donating, you will help:

· Restore coaching positions that have been eliminated in recent years due to district budget cuts

· Increase equipment and supply budgets

· Strengthen our athletics, arts, and activities programs

· Provide students with empowering, confidence-building experiences

These aren't just "extras" — they are essential parts of helping students discover who they are, build resilience, and connect with their school and community.

Because your Falcon pride goes twice as far during the match. Thanks to the Faribault Booster Club and Faribault Wrestling Association:

· A gift of $25 becomes $50.

· $100 becomes $200.

· $500 becomes $1,000.
