The 100 Men on a Mission event was a big win despite the Vikings loss last night. Over a hundred men gathered to watch the game and support local charities.

In the method of the Faribault Foundation 100 Men events, each man was invited to submit a nomination of an area nonprofit. Three finalists chosen were; Clean River Partners, Pheasants Forever and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.
After hearing about all three finalists, everyone voted for one of the three. Faribault Beyond the Yellow Ribbon was the top vote getter and received a grant of $5600.00 That is half of the amount collected by the donations made by the men.
Faribault Beyond the Yellow Ribbon connects military service members, veterans, and their families to essential resources and support services. They bridge the gap between our community and those who have served, ensuring they have access to the information and assistance they need to thrive.
The other half of the donation will be used to launch the Men on a Mission Endowment. Men on a Mission Endowment is a new project launched to build a legacy of philanthropy in men and boys, while helping support area nonprofits.
The 100 Men event was sponsored by The State Bank of Faribault, Monkey Motors and Mike’s Garage. The men met at the American Legion and enjoyed an evening of camaraderie, despite the Vikings loss.
