| The Faribault Foundation has provided a
number of 501(c)3 opportunities for various needs within the Faribault
community. The Faribault Family Aquatic Center and The Hansen Performing
Arts Center are two recent projects that received assistance from
The Faribault Foundation. |
| Faribault Family Aquatics Center |

The Faribault Foundation,
Inc. acted on behalf of "Pool Partners" to be fiscal agent
for the funds raised for the Faribault Family Aquatics Center. This
involved the establishment of an investment account in November 2001.
Over $300,000 was collected and invested until the culmination of
the project in June 2002. All of the proceeds were turned over
to the city of Faribault on behalf of its community supporters to
pay for the required $250,000 public investment plus an additional
$50,000+. Thousands of people travel from miles around each summer
to enjoy the wonderful new facilities at the Faribault Family Aquatics
Center. |
| Michael J. Hansen Performing Arts
Center |
| The Faribault School District,
in cooperation with a major area corporation, combined to provide
necessary products and a place to experiment with this product for
the success of both organizations. Acoustical ceilings were
installed in the recently completed Hansen Performing Arts Center
at the Faribault High School. Materials were needed to allow
for the suspension of this ceiling in the Center, and the Faribault
Foundation, Inc. , working with the school district, provided a passthrough
opportunity for individuals to make tax-deductible contributions. This
allowed for a joint venture to be completed for the betterment
of the Hansen Performing Arts Center. |
